Mo and Krill represents a really solid CC kit that is effective without a lot of investment. His ult might be kind of unengaging to execute, but having a relatively low skill - high impact character is nice for a lot of people to pick. If you have souls he is plenty dangerous, he just doesn't need them to be effective.
