I never liked Amy honestly, but after her Modern incarnation I ended looking back on her and I can't help but prefer original personalty much more, she is so full of life and happiness she needs her cheeks pinched.She has some flaws but I think the flaws were just the gag feeling a bit overdone at some points, she's handled perfectly in SA1 where she still has her love for sonic but feels fully realised as a character and I like how despite her own physical weaknesses she still choose to help the bird and stand up for herself, she even turns gamma around and instantly protects him from Sonic, she has agency in this game and it feels like everyone ignores this.I think Amy is better when she has a more important role in the story as we get to see more of her in general and games where she isn't playable tends to make her worse as she's just gag fodder who adds nothing outside of being as cute as a button.She also suffers the most from the eng localization.I miss her so much, her lines crossworlds are so dreadfully boring and stiff I'd rather she just didn't show up anymore now so they can't ruin her.
