Most of my battle tactics are based off WWII-Era Stalingrad sweep & clear maneuvers, combined with the modicum of things I picked up from my military family. Fire & Displace, grenade around corners to clear an unknown hallway from bushwhackers, and even using shaders to make my character blend in.

Honestly some real-world techniques do work even in a video game.

Like it has so many issues, the shotguns are useless dogshit, LMGs are mid as fuck because they have no fucking supression in the game which kind of defeats the whole point of lmgs and actually deploying your bipod is basically a death sentance because of how piss easy sniping is combined with the previous fact. Assault has literally 0 useful gadgets outside of the soawn beacon because the devs are afraid of explosives being able to actually dislodge campers and the support class just does basically everything but apparently the way BF3 and BF4 did it was just too good or something so we had to have change for the sake of change. Worst of all the gunplay feels like shit, everything feels like it shoots wet paper with little recoil, a retarded amount of bloom, and going for headshots is basically worthless outside of snipers. Attachments are also just boring as shit because the same few attachments are just flat out better than the rest and using anything besides a flash hider or a supressor puts a giant fucking shoot me sign above your head at any distance each time you shoot.

It just feels like they neglected to actually develop the game and just wanted in on warzones cash cow.

Depends on graphic settings and a major one, your monitor. People often have HDR at 1440p (which is what game devs seem to test their games around) and don't seem to bring up issues with spotting because their POV is very detailed and not a blurry mess compared to 1080p. Like I play on 1080p and made some tweaks to not make my eyes bleed so it isn't so bad, but you'll never get near perfect visibility unless you're playing on something like 1440p and above.

The problem with the mortar is that they're treating it like some braindead spam weapon when in reality the mortar should be limited on munition, require precise aiming. The mortar should only be visible each time it fires for a few seconds. This would be in line with counter-battery radar systems checking where the artillery came from. This would encourage frequently moving the mortar to prevent being sniped or receiving counter-artillery fire. Also drones little emp thing shouldn't be able to delete it. Cause that's retarded. If you're able to predict where someone is going to be and land a grenade sized explosion near enough to 100-0 someone you deserve a kill. Not 20 damage. Not equipment destroyed. No. You should always use either the slow or fast revolver. Slow revolver can one tap heads out to 20m and fast revolver will ACTUALLY kill people up close more reliably than any of the other fast sidearms. They're side grades that fulfill different things and they're the only two that are viable.

Mortars have been a staple on support since BF2. The issue is cramming a medic role into the class that hands out ammo and provides covering fire using LMGs and Mortars while the fire weapons, deployable cover and intercept systems let them lock down areas. This is true for every game from single player to multiplayer to story based games to racing games. Once you've unlocked everything, the end is nigh. It's super unethical to trick you into being a slave.
Instead of 300 kills, it's 2000 kills to max out a gun. Why not 20,000 kills? Maybe in a few Battlefield games, we'll have that and their faggot offspring will defend that shit too. Me?
