The only time it's actually gone up is during the lagiacrus and omega updates. Well technically it went up there during the charm update just before omega as well. So that's a long awaited monster, something to grind, and a totally new experience. Pretty clear blueprint for future updates I'd say. At least gog satisfies 2 of those it just sucks it'll be the last update for wilds before it's abandoned for a year until the expansion.

>>548642996It's not really different at all. Core moveset is the same you just swap out the tornado slash for tetraseal and then you equip the advancing "counter" move and that's about it. Ideally you want to use assist bugs but just have fun. You can go from 4U directly to sunbreak with no issues whatsoever aside from a few tweaks like only needing one button to send out your kinsect from sheathed position and not needing to use the bullet as often because you can just send your kinsect towards your reticle.

Fiscal year for most Japanese tech companies end at the end of March the following year. Both games are before the end of March. So the only things left to release in Fiscal Year 2026 are Pragmata, which is a new IP and Onimusha which isn't that big of an IP in general. A Monster Hunter Wilds expansion actually DOES fit in the timeline easily (rip my DD2 expansion bros though we're not getting that for sure now). And also, if Capcom doesn't announce the expansion here like Iceborne was announced, we might be waiting until Summer Game Fest. They need as many eyes on the expansion as possible now more than ever. And if they wait until Summer Game Fest, as I mentioned earlier, it probably won't release for another 8-10 months. That means Wilds Expansion could skip Fiscal year 2026, which to me doesn't make any sense since this is not a generational leap. Unless they're releasing Portable 6 before Wilds G, it's highly unlikely to happen. That means G-rank HAS to be announced here in the Game Awards if they want max visibility and if they want to release it in Fiscal Year 2026 which is consistent with past titles.Putting It Together and The ConclusionCoupled with the fact that they've been quiet as a whistle this week so far, it's unlikely there will be a showcase this week, I think they'll save it for the game awards and have a quick "Monster Hunter" segment where they show off Stories 3 with a new trailer, show off Gog and AT Jin and the roadmap and then tease the expansion all in about 10 ish minutes. Even if there's a showcase before the game awards though, I can still see DLC announcement in the Game Awards, again they want maximum visibility on it. 3/4

They were eaten, their parts used for building materials/armor/weapons and entire crafts and trades revolved around slaying/capturing them. Some were worshipped as deities and they even commanded the weather. Somewhere along the line there was a shift to a sort of "monsters are just in the way" kind of view that took over. It almost makes you feel like the devs are saying something about how we live in modern times. It just doesn't really feel like we rely on monsters anymore. Well I do have to say the farm in FU is a bit better than the one in freedom when you upgrade it. Two extra mining spots is pretty solid. You know it's really no wonder they just decided to give the stuff in later games. I haven't had to actually gather much in FU. I think I can count on one hand the amount of times I actually did a gathering run so far
