Just some unstructured thoughts on the factory side of things. The amount of shit you have to set up just to make like a single packet of mid-game medicine really seems quite excessive, but I guess that's sort of the point? Haven't been using blueprints to try and get a feel for things, but I imagine on official release, once I'm done with most of the account progression, I will simply copy some hyper-optimised setup from a friendly giga-autist. Overall, the factory stuff is interesting, but I've never played factorio or the like, so it will take a while to completely wrap my head around all of it and I can't say whether or not I fully care for this aspect of the game. The puzzle/solving aspect is enjoyable, but I can definitely see this getting old after the novelty wears off. To be clear, I think the system as a whole is a positive addition to the game, but it definitely feels a bit cumbersome to engage with at times.
