>>549144381As someone who's been using Stonesplit from the start for PvE, it does require some breakthrough levels and you'll often be using your spear waiting for openings, but you have a lot of tools to play more safe compared to DPS. Especially once you upgrade your inner art that extends your shield durations by 2 seconds and increases the amount they shield for, you can just pop the shield to open for bosses and have that much extra breathing room for learning attacks. It's actually pretty comfy. Then you're just reading them for parries and timing things so you know when you can release your sped up charge attacks.
