My favorite part of the POE1 atlas tree is the sense of progression, you work your way around it finding the maps, getting voidstones to increase their overall power, gain atlas point based on completion, then choose favorites and specialize. I hope they can find some sort of similar progression system to implement into POE2 since that adds so much purpose to the post-campaign pre-ubers part of the game.

Lightning Spear was great in 0.2 because of the raw scaling on the skill gem, but it was also great because Elemental Attack skills simply have 10x the support that anything else has with shit like Volt and Primal Armament being "it just works" giant damage buffs, meanwhile most spells and non elemental attacks were sifting through the trash for damage on Tuesdays slop

They do not know who Chayula is or that he's a Breachlord.The league mechanic has you grafting Hiveborn (Breach monsters) arms to your back and you help one of the Dreamer's priests (Ailith) to close breach portals, both the normal ones and fancier ones with walls and structures that you burn through. Ailith explodes along with the breach hand every time she succeeds, and if she dies she can show up in another area without issue.
