Finished Enderal today, it was pretty kino. The world and progression felt quite nice, I love the setpieces and quests, it's impressing how much awesome shit you can do with Skyrim's clunky ass engine.I know people meme the story as a ME ripoff but I enjoyed it a lot. It was at its weakest whenever characters had a moment to stand around and monologue their babby's first life introspections at you (which I feel it's more of a presentation problem than a substance one), but it's a story with overarching themes and the character writing still manages to be compelling which ultimately make it a greater sum of its parts. There were some hiccups along the way but it's surprising how stable of an experience it was with just a couple crashes and less bugs than expected.I guess I'm just happy I've played a superior experience with Skyrim, which is what I've been waiting to play ever since I've waited years and years for Skywind/Skyblivion/Beyond Skyrim. I didn't want Enderal because it's not TES, but at the end of the day I think it might be the best product I could've gotten all along. Maybe I can actually finally let go of Skyrim now.
