Genuine question. How is Leon's campaign, assuming it takes place in RC, going to work? The bombs didn't fully destroy the infrastructure, as we've seen in trailers, but I'm pretty sure the goal was to carbonize all forms of life, and unlife. So if his portion of the game involves him going back there, how would there be any zombies for him to fight? Did the bombs not work? If so, wouldn't the gov have sent people there to clean up any remaining BOWs that miraculously survived? If there are zombies/monsters still around, how have they not starved or rotted to (second) death?

I am replaying RE0 after like 3 years of having avoided it. Last thing I did was complete Leech Hunter with an A rank and honestly, having all that shit unlocked makes the game SO much more tolerable in replays. Same thing with RE6 and unlocking infinite ammo. Blasting through the game and enjoying the story is great.

On the contrary, getting really lucky with loot - like finding a cursed weapon early, or certain books to teach you magic or crafting recipes or rare, powerful accessories can take a completely shit run and make it pretty good.If you're still on the fence after I've explained this, the only way to really know for sure is to give it a try for yourself. At least, saving in FH1 is generally more forgiving than in 2.

I think this logic stems more so from Capcom's insistence of making your avatar react to the moment-to-moment gameplay thereby telling you, the player, how to react in the modern titles, but RE4 OG worked because outside of the cutscenes Leon was just a silent protagonist which is just more immersive. Although it's not like I don't think RE4R wasn't scary at all, but it would've been better not having to listen to Leon's constant quips during gameplay.

Finished what is apparently the end of story mode in Voices of the Void.Was kinda expecting more cool signals to actually matter, but I ended up getting a lot of repeat signals and some of them just sounded like a foley artist just doing whatever they wanted instead of anything spooky in particular. Ultimately the signals and the hashes and the transformer busywork didn't end up actually factoring in like I expected it to. Wasn't any 'you did a good job this week doing all the tasks so this spooky alien doesn't atomize you' or anything.I know there's more to the game than the storymode, but there's also apparently quite a lot that I would never see unless I looked it up.
