>>549635605When you poke you tilt your shield up against taller enemies and block much better, yes. Just blocking is way worse. Any amount of stamina on hits helps you spam it. Otherwise be conservative during big combos. Thrusting counter attack dormants help a lot with DPS. There are also bosses you can two hand the weapon and take the worse block, like the magma wyrm spin attack, for yet more DPS.

I would have to do 2 invaders and 2 gaols to do similar damage and there are plenty of runs where my team ignores both, so I'd rather have the consistent 24% damage than maybe get 10-15% more. After all in my experience, if we're breezing through gaols and night invaders, we're already shitting out tons of damage and so the extra amount won't make the run that much different. However, the consistent 24% will always help me even when I have horrible games where we skip all the best loot spots.

That's personally how I view all 3+ relics. I have a lot of 3+ seals increase max FP relics. It's very good early game when you don't have a lot of power and so you need to cast spells more often. As the game goes on and you get more shards, more FP and more power, you don't need it and you can ditch the seals. That's kind of how I would do it with the twinblades. I'm going to be getting them anyway so instead of picking some random stamina upgrade I could grab 3 twinblades until I get 1 charged incantation +18% and then drop them. And if I get absolute trash the entire run, at least I know I can makeshift 20% damage out of them.
