Kirby doesn't go well with too much text most of it is conveyed through subtlety in imagery, sound, gameplay and the surreal augur of it all. Most Nintendo IPs don't go that well with too much text either
During my time being deployed the only consistent and healthy joy I had with me every day of my life was carrying around a 3ds through the place I stayed at and replaying every single Kirby game ever, it was this weird chinese cartridge that could emulate games from the snes to the ds without much issue alongside their whole librwries and most of the 3ds' one too. I would replay them over and over again while adding twists to the ones I liked the most like borderline jumpless and playing the whole game with 1 copy ability, beating the true arena with everything and so on. Even when I got shot the only thig I did during my recovery was replay Superstar Ultra again. There's some unseen magic in these games that makes you smile while playing them regardless of where you are at or who you are that I really appreciate.

Apologies in advance for the lorefaggotry but I just got done with SCW and I can't help but wonder if the starries are somewhat related to 64's crystal shards, which will probably be up for questioning in a future title. The way Genwel Fuckallelifis, Termina and Galacta Knight are evidently Void adjacent lifeforms that can only be imprisoned by their power and the whole crystal theming thing going on my personal headcanon is that, since they seem to be generally aligned with sealing void-ish fellas, they probably have something to do with the big fuck all crystal from 64. Haven't seen anyone call this out yet but I think it's neat

Kinda regret paying full price for air riders, shit should've been 40 bucks max. I did most of the checklists (still missing RNG bullshit). Playing with friends is fun enough but gets repetitive. I don't get why they made ranked modes because in races the people behind will always get boosts and items so they catch up so who wins is down to RNG, and city trial is just pure RNG so makes no sense to have. Roadtrip was as a neat idea but also gets repetitive and the story is retarded and uninspired. And what the fuck is the matchmaking, is nobody playing this brand new game already? It takes a minute or two to get a full race of like 6 people, and it's always the same people with matching set to anywhere. Surely there's more than a handful of people playing this, right? Anyway I was expecting more, bit disappointed.

Out of the entire Switch 2 launch lineup Air Riders is undoubtedly the best, though MKW gets a little close and I personally just didn't really enjoy MP4 and Bananza because of how absurdly low the difficulty is in both. No games so far are worth getting a Switch 2 for but if you have one already you should give it a shot ASAP.I think Air Riders will suffer the same fate as the original, being a somewhat niche mechanically complex racing game with a very dedicated fanbase. It won't be Smash or Splatoon tier but definitly Mario Kart tier when it comes to online playerbase.

Why do I suck at City Trial>I always go for a manuverable vehicle early on, like the Swerve Star, Wagon, Wheelie Scooter, Paper Star, etc>Head straight to the underground to break crystals and ruins>If I have a decent fly stat and/or flying vehicle after, I go to volcano to get onto the sky garden for it's stats>I priortize good events like short races/derbies, bosses, rare boxes, reward rings, portals, cracked boxes, etc>Otherwise I focus on blue boxes and red boxes if legendaries are in play>Mid/late game I switch to vehicles that benefit from higher stats, like Bull tank/Battle chariot/Rex if I have decent turn to make up for their stiff controls, and/or which specialize in my best stats, OR I stick with general machines like the wagon, swerve etc if the stadium is locked and I don't know what it isWhat am I doing wrong?The only things I can think of is my execution can be sloppy with making turns and not missing them, and with hitting other players when moving at high speeds, and I can be indecisive with switching vehicles or bad at finding them and I often end up just staying on the wagon/swerve star I picked up early/mid game rather then finding something more specialized

Gooey and Kawasaki should be able to capture Scarfies. Gooey, ChuChu, and DL3 Rick could all do it, which means Scarfies are immune to being inhaled not eaten in general.Air Riders is consistent with Gooey being unable to eat more than one enemy, but not being able to eat things Kirby can't. This pisses me off to no end. How do I get Japanese players to tell this to the devs before Hackurai abandons ship?
