My main point was that there's a much smaller number of Star Wars fans now than 10 years ago, and the ones that are probably wouldn't like Total War anyway, and Total War fans are probably like 30% or more chuds who think giving their money to Disney is bad or just cringe at the idea of a crossover, or a sci-fi crossover with a completely different game feel. 40k is obviously a leap on it's own and it's just fantasy but in space with an obvious huge amount of people who will pay for it. Star Wars has recently done a dark souls clone which did ok but not incredible, and a ubisoft game that got hatebrigaded and was also shit.
