if you want to sweat frontier system you would want a wide variety of elements/types and all of them to have their corresponding "if you have x element on your squad +y to dice total/dice total minus y and increase final multiplier"everything else is based on random chance for not nearly as good of a payoffbased on the datamined lines it seems like there's 7 elements and 9 types so that would be 63 familiars to cover everything (assuming there is a familiar for every possible combination), trying to have a squad of 3 for every single type is impossible without dumping a metric shit ton on familiar expansion slots but it's still unknown how much of an impact matching the element and type do to the potential rewards

>>550861164that is definitely something to consider, it's a lot of work to try and get good familiars especially when the type and element of familiars didn't matter until now so no one has documented where each of the combos can be farmedafter doing a legendary expedition i can say that epic familiars are fine as long as your potentials are relevant and you match the expedition requirementsthis expedition asked for holy/devils, going in with 3 devils gave me a free +15 to die rolls, combined with the default 3x multiplier i had from potentials the only roll i failed was the last (197, rolled 192) due to rolling odd on the last die and not proccing the luck based multiplieri was not offered the chance to get a bag above purple, next time i get a legendary expedition i want to try matching the element to see if there's any difference or if it just affects the bonus skill at the startas far as ap goes level 5 on each familiar is important so you don't risk burning out on round 3, if you swipe for breakthroughs a full team of level 7 familiars shouldn't need to ever heal (this also means needing unique familiars which is much more time consuming/expensive especially since there's no way to reroll frontier potentials at the moment)

>>550966039There's a boss menu in the maple guide(keybind to F1 by default) that you can use to access bosses. They drop crystals you can sell for meso as well as some equipment that can be useful. Other than that you're probably going to be leveling by doing dailies, mainly arcane river quests and monster park(you can buy extra entry tickets in the cash shop for meso if you're on reboot/heroic). You can grind as well if you have a bunch of bonus exp coupons and other similar boosts.

In the early game you might also run ursus for meso and arkarium for a dominator pendant, as well as gollux for its drops when you're closer to 260.Along with that you want to be doing weeklies, mainly whatever bosses you can kill for equipment and boss crystals to sell. There are also arcane river weeklies which give extra symbols if you can stomach the minigames, and then at 260+ an erda weekly, epic dungeons and monster park extreme. If you want you can grind on top of that but dailystory is enough to carry you to 280 at least.Beyond the dailies and weeklies you should try to do some quick event stuff, mainly simple check-ins, killing x number of mobs and other quick tasks that very depending on what events are currently going on for pretty good rewards. Events usually also give out rewards that make it easy to power-level other characters to level 200-210 to gain access to their link skills and to boost your legion to benefit your main. Don't bother investing any time on mules outside of events.What you're looking for is getting more damage and levels to progress. The basic loop is: reach a level milestone (a multiple of 5) to access new main story area -> get a new symbol and daily quest -> do dailies and weeklies for exp, symbols, boss drops and meso -> grind however much you feel like for more exp and to get some job related drops(nodestones for 5th job and erda for 6th job) -> use meso to upgrade gear and other resources to upgrade skills -> kill stronger bosses that drop new better gear.Might be helpful to look up a progression guide on youtube. Also join a guild so that you can ask them for help and later on join bossing parties.

You click the star icon to the left, and it's there in the menu. It basically gives you a set of armor that will grow stronger the more bosses you kill. Opening the [Item Burning] menu after you got the gear shows you which bosses you've got to kill for the gear to grow stronger. Also, the event [Challenger: Challenger World] serves as a decent objective list for making progress. Make number go big from reaching level milestones and clearing bosses.

uh oh the booter is mad the most recent patch isn't giving him infinite pitched minutes after it droppedin my personal opinion with mystic frontier the cubing problem in reg has been mostly alleviated, i got 8 bonus brights this week which for some events in the past would be about a third of the cubes you could get for several monthsstill have not seen a regular bright cube from it, if it drops on reg that's neat and if not the meso market has always existed, star speck boxes add another way to dump items for mesos if you don't need the item itself though buying an item with a good main pot is still probably the cheapest methodwish the patch notes showed more of the possible rewards aside from focusing on pitched and the new skill rings, would be nice to know what's possible and perhaps people wouldn't be so rabid about it if it didn't seem like pitched items were the main reward
