The combat is also 4 bros in a row and may be more or less fun for you compared to SRPG tactics.

So far this VN is just Utawarerumono with uglier art and Gaelic/Roman aesthetics instead of Japanese ones. I mean, this Riannon girl is so similar to Eruruu it's ridiculous. Both are timid healer/support characters who would do anything to protect their family, and form a pact with an evil deity with that in mind. They're also both descendants of a legendary bloodline which is important to their people's history and grants them special powers. They even have the same little hair tuft thingies... if you're going to make them so similar, why not go all the way and copy and paste Eruruu into the VN? Her design's a hell of a lot cuter than Riannon's is.

And now I've played more JRPGs then ever.Whenever you think you've fallen out of love with a medium, or think there's no more wonder to be found in the world... It's often the case you just need to find that one special game that lights everything else on fire, and gives so much light to see. For me, that was Tobiden.And now it's in English. It'd be unreasonable to expect that Tobiden will be a favorite to everyone who plays it, but such a special game being more widely available is wonderful to see, and I commend @DesuNingen for their efforts.
