Turns out that pawn I had that was always failing surgery was due to a bugged trait. Well the trait was functioning correctly but removing it was bugged which is why I didn't catch it. Is there any rhyme or reason what genes VRE: Fungoid space aids can flip to endogenes? I'm slowly optimizing my pawns by giving them a custom xenogerm and getting them punched by my resident neanderthal with the infector gene, but it feels like it's simply blind trial and error as to what does flip to endogene and what disappears. Some archite genes do flip while others don't so it's not just that either. My lategame gene library has 400+ isolated genes and I'm not really thrilled to go through all that by trial and error while taking notes.

This situation has really forced me to think about the division of labor.I've adjusted priorities so Maisie can still have a life beyond taking care of babies and so she can use her plant skills to get some crops. Her oldest children can feed baby food to the infants and then she can come back to breastfeeding when she's done with the plants so Sam doesn't have to spend so much time foraging and hunting.

>>550529054i mostly agree but i was just going along with anons autism. but the only real bad thing about wake up is the chance for heart attack which archite genes prevent and addiction isn't that hard to get over so the gene really isn't so great, it can be more useful early game though
