game logic (ai movements, like, the calculation to decide where to go and so on) is done on the CPUgame rendering (how does this ai look, like rendering the character) is done on the GPUgames balance the two, for instance things off camera are not rendered and the ai also stops or is reduced to super basic pathing.this is why many things on screen reduce performance, both cpu and gpu have to do a lot of calculations and rendering.in short, a game that has a bad ai using raycasting non stop may cripple the cpu performance, that will stall the gpu as the gpu is waiting for the cpu to tell it where a mesh should be positioned at

Harada hasn't directed Tekken in the last 5 years, he let other people direct and he only was a producer aka making sure they get the resources needed from the stingy bamco execs, he was very hands off until the season 2 debacle in which he used his seniority to dig up some old timers to get shit on track again (which we can see in the dlc characters being rather moderate instead of Anna level) we'll ultimately see with season 3 how much of a difference this will make but I always found it quite interesting how people on the internet have so little idea how companys actually work and just hated blindly on harada despite him probably not even having looked at the game for a year and being just in the background resource managing and hanging out with the community, expect transparancy to significantly reduce going forword after twt, like sf6 levels of completely silence and unknowing
