I hope the third DT alliance raid is fun, because I haven't enjoyed anything about the last two. Not even meaning to say they were bad, I just felt 0 desire to run them after the second or third time. I didn't like the glams. I didn't find the fights very enjoyable. Nothing stuck out as memorable for me, not even the music. If you put a gun to my head, the only track I could hum a little bit of was the last boss from San Andreas: The Second Walk, and even then it'd only be the part where he transitions into his final form.It really feels like they're scared to do anything risky or new with these 24man raids. The audience for this type of stuff is the best audience to test new things with because they're just there for a goofy time. Instead every boss just has the same in/out/spread mechanics as a boring fucking raid. Hell, we had 24 people but did it even matter? Were we ever split into groups? Did three tanks ever have to do anything except spread apart that one time? And if they failed, did it even matter? We have 6 healers, what are we doing with them? We have 15 dps, but the hp falls off so fast because they're afraid to give things too much. Like, the whole design philosophy behind 24man content just feels wasted. And I say that as someone who used to love this stuff and literally owns an orbonne monastery hat irl. I want my peak cinema goofy raids back.
