In Tarkov itself you're obviously going to be in a bunch of differing situations (very rarely any half decent face masks, if any) but the general theory still applies the same. It's more effective than you think. With express, the recoil benefits actually help, the extra pellet helps, etc etc, but 7mm works fine too. Knocking out limbs quickly can be a force multiplier if you get to strike first, too. You just have to avoid getting everything soaked up by armour if you're close.The best option is obviously to use a real gun but if you have to use shotguns, normal buck is how I would lean every time.Not that you have to do any of this but I'd still recommend trying it out a few times, get a feel for how it works before completely discarding it
