So, I've cooking up a custom format. I've taken 8 decks and am going to try to limit the card pool so these are the only playable decks. Naturally, this is going to be a lot of trial and error as the only way to balance something like this is to play again and again to see what decks are the best, and then give or take away tools based on the results. Solfachord is something that just never got out of fun deck status. Vendread isn't something I know much about, but I wanted a ritual deck and I remember people being bitter over the direction of the long term support. AFD is technically the newest deck and and seems to have been considered anime slop, so I'm hoping it can shine in a lower powered format. Time Thief is odd since Redoer is something that has been in some meta decks, and most of the other decks can use him too, but the deck hasn't seen much use in a "pure" state. Destiny Board/Necrofear is an alt win condition. That already puts it in the trash pile. Krawler is probably the 2nd weakest World Legacy deck, and I would need to work with even weaker stuff if I wanted to play with World Chalice. Destiny HERO is here because I needed a fusion deck and while it had some use in the early days, in the modern era it's only been part of HERO slop, so I want to see what happens when it loses the generic HERO support like Stratos and Dark Law.
