Do we really need a remake to adapt BoG and RoF? Battle of Gods was already perfect through the movie. RoF gods was shit in both, but that arc's problems run way deeper than bad animation, and unless it's a full reboot, it'd be better to just skip it all together and work on U6/U7. And as for the tournament arc, it doesn't really pick up until Goku fights hit. Maybe you could argue that Vegeta vs Magetta was cool, but the Botamo and Cabba fights will be boring no matter how well you animate them and the Frost fights are hardly fights.

Same with Puar after the Baba tournament. But Lunch is the only once-main cast member that straight up disappears. They even ommitted her in the Daima recap.

God damn I wanted to pick up the Dragon Ball anime and I was debating between original and Kai and while yeah original seems hella bloated, Kai's cuts are fucking FAST AS FUCK. These scenes don't flow cleanly to each other either. I'm genuinely surprised people said Kai is the best way to watch Dragon Ball. Going from bloat to minutes long infodumping without any sort of levity isn't really much better.
