Okay so with a bit of testing. You can get a permanent boost on your tauron strike charge rate by adding a lens to your k-drive and ground heavy weapon. No other semi-equipped item counts. Amp doesn't count, archwing, archgun, archmelee, necramech, necramech weapon, basically anything else doesn't count. So in summary, warframe, primary, secondary and melee weapon, heavy weapon and k-drive are the only things that will boost your rate with lenses.That means that with sek-eel, you'll need about 110 kills (including kills from your allies within affinity range) to fully charge a tauron strike after grabbing a focus orb.For more details, here's what other people found.Each kill (including allies) gives you 0.1% charge. Focus orb gives you 20% charge and multiplies all charges by 5 for the duration of the orb. This CAN include orbs themselves if you grab a new one before your first expires, effectively giving you 100% charge.This also means that your allies are actually extremely useful as long as they get kills. So playing a buff/healer frame is not putting you at a disadvantage. Vazarin (like always) benefits significantly more from that interaction.Overall, the system is not too bad but you need to know how it works to actually use it. If you don't, it could take you literally a thousand kills to fire your beam for 4 seconds.
