Interwined Assault had really nice story. Too bad it seems rushed and they ruined buildup. Dialogue between Orphia and SKK was great but then they pulled this random phonecall from Paradeus higher-ups with comical level of evil. It felt almost as bad as Nearl doing meteor entrance during Kazimierz event in AK and effortlessly slapping enemies that were made out to be strong bosses. I love trope of good character having to do something evil in hopes of ultimately doing good. It actually made me feel for her and her sacrifice in story is the kind of shit that makes story actually feel worthwhile as it's not some Mary Sue friendship always wins and everybody comes home safe bullshit like in Genshin. I always liked that GF story was willing to make sacrifices and loses because it makes success in the end deserved. I really hoped they'd pull some twist and Orphia seeing how her plans to stay aren't going to work out anyway, she'd join ELMO as part of crew, just like Mayling, but focused on medicine and care/solving mystery of Melanie/Helena, but I'm fine with her being sacrificed if it leads to something meaningful, even if it's SKK finally "finding path" and putting some flowers on her symbolic grave in some turning point in the story when things pick up the pace. Especially that she looked qt.Also it feels weird to not have action described. In GF1 we'd have nice flow of action while in GF2 it's just>we managed to escape explosionsone-liner.
