This is gonna sound like complete schizo yapping but something about the writing in this game irks me greatly. Look at pic related. There's a distinct lack of subject presence in a lot of the writing, as if the subject is meant to be implied but any English speaker would recognise how awkward it sounds. I thought it was just Nazuna being lazy with her dialogue but the other characters do this a lot too. There's a scene where Noya says "Just a gut feeling! Followed my gut, and it led me right here!" which just reads so awkwardly without the initial pronoun. Now I'm probably gonna be called a schizo but I realize that this happens a lot with LLMs when the tokenization values are set too low during generation, like with old Claude and ChatGPT. There are other "isms" too like with the common use of "other people would X but you Y" type sentences. It also tends to happen when translating from Chinese, where the subject is often implied rather than stated, into English, where dropping the subject requires a different set of rules. I have no proof that they're MTLing the game but regardless it reeks of amateurism and my autism causes me to sperg out whenever I see this shit. If this bothers you but you never noticed it before then I am so sorry.
