I liked frontier it just needed few changes not litteral whole rewite.

funny you want to leave spawn as I just moved back to spawn and the parking lot with those stupid china robots who think hugs = bullets. in a little spot right there with the trees and stuff. got sick of being out around all the high level jerks and their as you said paypig setups. so now literally down the stairs from the main starting vault is my base and oh look nobody EVER builds there so for now its just me. I'm actually in the process of cleaning up an old fo3 faction mod that got left abandoned and well desu half done. the quests were fairly ok and didnt need much (thats not true it needs an overhaul but thats a whole other thing). but the guy left the whole faction of people and didnt actually make a faction and put them in it. so it causes its own problems being factionless. add in most of them dont have proper settings or idle or anything for ai package except some broken one he made that applied to literally 1 location and everyone stands around as motionless statues until attacked. so cleaning it up and fixing some of the major issues like no faction and no ai packages besides that 1. Was legit thinking of uploading it and doing the no comments but mostly just went meh. but its one I always wanted to patch and upload since it had decent potential for a faction in game and they held a few spots. If I did i'd take your advice and also disable bug reports with comments as I dont care honestly what others think and their stance on outdated mindset like muh permission from someone not logged into nexus in 10 years. hell try to get ahold of the mod maker of real time settler and see how it goes oh yeah he probably hasnt been on nexus in years either.

But I also know how I am and if I upload that one mod patch I make i'll just hit fuck it territory and putting more out for dead abandoned mods. because god knows a ton of these old mods need a going over and new content desperately needed. I dont even mean in a ttw way I mean each game by itself needs more creative going on and less cliche cliche. but cliche is easy for most and thinking is hard for most. Im not even that creative and I just wanna do dumb repeatable quests for caps and gear and have more factions to work with that isnt the cliche shitesda ones

oh its old. I pretty much got burned out on fo4 and nv (this makes me sad I like nv dammit) and took over a year off from all bethesda games (more like 1.7 years) and when I came back I went fuck it I havent touched fallout 3 in over a decade proper and installed it and got it going again and didnt ttw it. So for me its nothing but older mods for the most part. hell I still want to fix the very first mission quest mod due to how it breaks at the end and I think but its the first one on nexus it needs to be fixed. (something something autism). but yeah I am starting to think I need to just go you know what screw the bitching these people wouldnt know what they need if the list of it appeared due to years of poor mods to pick from and some mods being dead or abandoned for so long most dont remember they exist. I was in a similar position with some ancient sex mods on LL. Making minor patches and alterations for months, until I snapped back into reality and stopped.
It wasn't the worst waste of time.

I will admit this, I am in a rare spot in life that I actually have my job and place to stay and its well stable and apart from money being way tighter than I would like at times I am able to take some spare time I have and waste it finally. and figure fuck it a few months dicking around in fallout 3 and maybe uploading patches to old dead mods (or forgot or just cuz I want to) while a waste of time is something i'll enjoy so not sure it'll be time wasted ultimately. That being said I get that with old mods and for you fixing up old ll mods. there's shit selection for fo3 for simple prostitute mods (not even over the top just basic shit for my game world as background noise or if I roll prostitute on the class list to play as) and ended up having to roll with saving nova, animated prostitution from the nexus of all places and 1 other prostitution mad that added some more features. fair enough it works but its like damn part of me wants to get good at the geck and update what little for fo3 there is so those that dont want to ttw can enjoy some adult stuff within reason,.

but bluntly I mostly just want to work on faction mods and give more factions to use even if its just some dumb merchant selling some special faction gun and thats it and making it work.

but I figure its not even like im going to go full autism on this and would just do shit over time for fun. I learned that the hard way with nv and fo4 geck fun. so now I am not in a rush and rather dink around on some dead mod and updating it and doing things for a year than going oh god gotta put out these 50 patches NOW!. plus I still am relearning the fo3 geck as I havent touched it since 2015/16.

I'm not a fan of the commodification of Fallout by Bethesda, which that power armor is something of an epitome of. It's childish/autistic worldbuilding, like how Wolfenstein has WW2-era guns due to those guns being Nazi Germany iconography. Though, the difference is the NCR ranger armor power armor just comes across as desperate, while the Wolfenstein example is more artistically pleasing.

I'm not so sure. At least for NV we have gotten a lot. Keep in mind most aren't good. The community is rallying right now over Long 15 which is really bland and boring, but it has the reddit quirky charm to it that the discord community will back it.

Current Status: Pulled Lily out of a Ruined abandoned vault and made her my right hand gal in regards to security. She's got repair and merchant and keeps it when traveling with me (sharing and caring and trasch or whatever it is). Also sweet talked the two ladies of Andale into joining up my growing empire and ditching those silly bois they spent time with. Also got some sweet halo armor for a laugh as I give zero fucks about lore and will bring in batman shit for fun. So got those ladies souped out in halo gear. not running really any weapon mods or armor as I want the npc to be as stock as it gets. so basically we get the fun toys though I am pondering on giving the raiders and talon some wh40k armors to spice things up a bit (that's 20 minutes of geck work and than another 30-50mins to solid test),. Got ol bess from real time settler as I am going to setup a base of operations but so far the few locations Ive scoped I havent decided on. Might fall back on springvale but thats a cliche in a series of cliches and will probably go north and find a cliff or hill up high to work with.

and with some fun markfordelete and disable I can take over locations and make them my own so to speak so its really all up for grabs as I gain power. got some good and bad things to do to offset some of the power scales but eh all is fair in conquering the wasteland. I also added in a bunch of factions (dead and finished) to further add a bit of random and have a few scripts going to toss some of them out into field locations randomly to add at least a bit of illusion they are more active than sitting in their base doing nothing.

Everything in terms of costuming is on the lower end of mediocre at best. The power armour especially looks atrocious in all of the scenes it is in.

Anthony House was a braindead paranoid schizophrenic who turned the H&H Tools factory into a deathtrap because he hated Robert so much. They would not be working together. Robert House likely just still has pride in the products H&H Tools made before he and Anthony had their falling out, because he did co-found that company. Robert House has his own brand of paranoia and covering bases for every possible scenario, which lines up with him using a body double to try to hide himself in public or prevent assassination. That's the much more reasonable explanation, rather than it being his insane retarded half-brother who distrusts and hates him.

My guess is they're setting up House to be a bigger villain than he really is. Notice during that conversation with Moldaver she thinks he's going to use his missiles to destroy the world, when we know and even the Ghoul knows he used them to defend Vegas. It'll be le epic subversion to build up House as a bad guy and then they reveal the actual nefarious presence. They still need to revisit the Enclave and Wilzig story thread at some point, after all.

Still no base or setup and still wandering nomad at this point doing the king without a kingdom but the traveling king gig isnt bad. also the lighting mod for skies makes everyones hair and colors overly vibrant. almost amusing.

So for now im going to go tag a few talon and raider chicks with slave gear to have some packmules for everyone and I still need to grab those ww2 uniforms for everyone and I still havent hit up megaton nor rivet city nor the underwood yet and have to stop and do a few things at all 3 places. maybe i'll snag up some more people to recruit depending. that being said off to go raid a few locations before doing the big springvale elementary raid with 10 or so with me.

I also might take over the interior of the dunwich building as its fairly large and would be interesting to see 30+ wandering around in it. shame it lacks proper navmesh and general idle stuff around the place.

I am going to build a settlement and Hq and lay claim to plays and also move people around locations using sharing and caring and console commands. its how I can make the game world move forward in ways even if its just silver now travels with me and the raiders in springvale are dead (markfordelete and disable) and the place is now free for whatever and maybe moving some people into it and giving it the ol clean up and going over with console and other things.

and I also have tons of side things to do and experience on top of things mod added. and I do tidy places up passing through a bit also. however my rule is going to not be sugar and spice and all things nice as I now some will disagree and they will politely have accidents and its far nicer than how it could go. but thats a problem of them all thinking they can conquer the wasteland and me actually conquering the parts that matter. and with various quests and mods I add later I keep it evolving.

Fallout is a setting that's fighting itself. They kept moving the timeline forward, and there's too many resources and old world tech lying aorund that there's no real reason why people can't just rebuild. At this point, the entire wasteland should consist of city states and mini-states now.

But the series is built around "the wasteland", so they have to continually and awkwardly reset the entire universe to the stone age.

The TV show is just them resetting the Mojave which is most endings is set to more or less become a mostly stable setting. There's no reason why new Vegas couldn't have a population in the hundreds of thousands.

Once you have fresh water and electricity civilization is bound to happen, and people will flock together and protect it.

It'd be pretty difficult to rebuild fully in a setting like fallout. Magical radiation and all of the monsters and weird shit would make it hard as hell. Even the NCR in 2 are just a bunch of disparate settlements loosely held together by a government. It doesn't come close to anything that came before the war with infrastructure and resources necessary to build shit. If the dinos hadnt been wiped we would have never become the dominant species on the planet, same thing in fallout except that its muties, deathclaws and other dangerous shit that makes that incredibly hard.

But episode 1 itself was pretty reserved. In terms of the damage it did to fnv, I can only think of a few things:

Is there an item you always adjust in GECK?

For me its Marksman Rifle and All American in NV. I always edit the ammo capacity to 30 rounds. It always triggered my autism that both rifles have 30 round magazine but only carried 24 rounds

After doing my best to try and tolerate or improve them over the years. At this point I cannot play without opening up fo4edit and systemically replacing 90% of the weapons in the base game.
Bethesda just cannot design guns for shit and honestly do not even understand the aesthetic or setting of fallout enough to actually include guns that should be there.
I can only hope that for Fallout 5 they just outsource all of the guns to an external studio. I cannot stand water cooled 'assault rifles' with anti-air sights in a setting where the G3, FAL and AR platform were all common (with wood furniture). To say nothing of Bethesda's weird fetish for using left handed guns.

I'm personally happy we got one last good fallout game rather than some horrible slop like the Outer Worlds.

Reality most named places in new vegas end up destroyed in msot endings.
The theme was always war never changes and nuclear destruction so it sint a suprise.
Fallout 76 is all about rebuilding but it still comes down to the fact that you need to nuked some stuff and people doing it daily to bases.
There is now way to stop a human spirit or stop a destruction coming from magical radiation.
This board will be unsuable once region appears and they will as annoying as they were in game.

I started the series after 76 went on sale last year. I played a ton of 76 with my friends that month and had a lot of fun. It inspired me to get into the series proper and I started with 1 and I'm currently making my way through the NV DLC. Each game makes me appreciate FO1 more.

i feel like im going insane but at some point in my game i installed a mod in Fo4 and now all dead bodies have collision in my game, like they actually slow me down and my character shoves them away with their feet. I dont recall this being in the base game. Or am i misremembering
also my weapons seem to do the bloody perk explosion thing despite me not having the perk
wtf is causing this?
