What if Blizzard gave away gold credits for people who were actively playing Overwatch. Like every season you can earn enough credits to buy next season’s ultimate battle pass, but you have to play an x amount of matches and you have to maintain a certain win percentage to make sure you’re not just throwing games. The points you earn basically deteriorate if you stop playing for an extended period of time forcing you to continue playing all season. Would it stop smurfs from fucking around on their alt accounts and focus on unlocking that free ultimate battle pass? Could also stop people from throwing games because it gives them an incentive to win.
