Honestly? It makes sense this war between Penacony and Amphoreus fansBoth arcs are the opposite thing with the opposite message. I would say that, in Matrix terms, Penacony represents the red pill while Amphoreus is the blue pill. In Penacony, despite being a land of dreams, things end with harsh reality winning out. Some characters have died and there's no easy way out. Meanwhile, even though Amphoreus is a world of tragedy, it ends with a grand deus ex machina where everyone is alive, even the NPCs.
I think the true loser of this story patch is Robin, she's somehow even more boring than before and every single segment with her was just awful

Well this was depressing, for once in their life they actually managed to make a pretty good ending to a story, though I do think that the majority of this patch was extremely lackluster and poorly executed, at least that finale with Firefly was really good. Its a shame that apparently we will not be seeing her again until the plot about facing ourselves resolves, which will happen who fucking knows when considering hoyo LOVES to just stall the fuck out of the main plot to make as much money as possible from filler but Firefly definitely has the best wife plot out of all the current characters, she's a really tragic character that didn't feel as forced as Cyrene did, I wanted to like Cyrene a lot but the writer and director just completely fucked her over

I look at what Firefly could have been from the start and it's just so disappointing. Why did they only explore her potential one year later? Because there were so many complaints, not because they couldn't. I don't know what Shaoji has on Hoyo that they seem to have so much faith in him, but I don't have any left. I started Penacony so excited for the future of HSR and now I don't ever want to go back because clearly, they can't even admit or correct their mistakes without Remembrance McGuffins saving the day.
