Okay, let's actually be optimistic here... there is a non-zero amount of resources being directed to rewrite the story that no one cares about because it's already scuffed and will never be as good as what we were supposed to have before 30% cheaper nigger cocks in Dawei inserted his homosexual love into the game... and after the rewrite is done, those people will either be sent to other projects or the additional "help" will simply disappear and there will be no additional attention paid to any other aspect of the game than what is currently happening... and as far as content goes, we are all but assured to get the same 9 week schedule of one (1) heavily nerfed Chaos planet that they want us to use to farm perfect decks (again) so that we can kill the new (read: old, recycled) bosses except this time they'll counter the characters that you've been building because that's a popular strategy now and they do not play their own game so they have no idea how to balance it other than to nerf the most popular strategies, so you'll need to farm decks for comparatively and progressively weaker teams than you were using, while they release units that are at a "new" power level, as the effectively phase out the good characters and reestablish an new baseline power level that characters and decks are capable of being at, through a series of controlled nerfs to good things that people were having fun with, and this cycle will repeat every 9 weeks until EoS.

Like, I have never in my entire life had more fun with the base version of a game than with a game's "event". The events are supposed to be the good parts, but the "Season/event" they launched literally took 20% of the game, forced you to play only 20% of that game for 9 weeks, and they gave that 20% of the game significantly worse RNG on purpose. They've been course correcting but it's just really scummy and sour and I think they need a miracle to win everyone back. The game is just way too grindy and has way too much purposely bad RNG, and the balance is pretty bad as well, but the 4*s are all busted and people have those 4*s so there isn't much complaining about it because everyone has the busted stuff.

After that they convert all the results into points which then is used for you to build a deck around based on what you encountered but with the upside of you being able to access old schievements/gains as well. You can’t stop meta gaming I don’t think anyone is that delusional but you can at least make it so the process to do so is to encourage fun. The deck building for out of chaos content will never be anything but chasing meta, so that’s whatever. But chaos itself should be semi-relaxed and encouraging to not reset, whether by more penalties for quitting/reset or more rewards for doing whatever it takes to pass the chaos.Like right now those blue orbs are just for upgrading but what if they were the currency to build your deck? Now everyone wants to fight them but fighting them is hard and it’d be great if players can no longer guarantee a run clear when face tanking all the rare species and shit but will still come out of it well rewarded.
