So for example, if greenskin players consistently ragequit or lose battles then that data of lost gobbos wouldn't be included. In other words, Lizardmen players are either absolute chads who carry on after bad plays, or like you say, Saurus are pretty spammable, reliable even into bad matchups, and high morale to incur more casualties. I think it makes sense even if I don't like it. Saurus are a really reliable and good shield, but the rest of the army doesn't necessarily fall apart just because saurus are taking losses, like the Empire would if they lost all their spearmen. It also helps that saurus are really consolidated, technically 4 units (with/without shields, clubs and spears), but in an Empire campaign you might have spearmen, spear shields, swordsmen, halberds, greatswords, or heroes as your melee frontline. Saurus warriors (no shields, clubs) are the weakest and cheapest of the saurus, so losing a shit load of them is probably not going to kill a campaign or trigger a reload.

It comes off feeling like playing an old early 2000's movie tie-in action game with how a majority of the enemies can just hyper armor poise through your moves, but they tried to make it le heckin' epic hard as fuck at the same time. It feels like you're playing some game that blew in from 20 years ago that's also trying to cash in on the trendy dark souls or vermintide precision melee playstyle. Playing Darktide as an Ogryn for example does a way better job feeling brutish and in control, even zealots and psykers can feel much more comfy fighting a horde in melee too. I think nids were a huge downgrade from the orks too but that's beside the point. Just feels clumsy and forced imo.
