How would you feel if every business in the game received a mission to close it down? Your character gets to double-cross the job handler and finish the story arc. At the end, the places are closed down. They don't make product anymore, but you also don't pay for upkeep. Just an empty property on the map. If you want to grind them again, you have to start them fresh like you never met that NPC before.
