It's the feeling I had during this year and the same issue I have with manwha that makes me end up dropping them every time I pick one: Koreans seem to write by vibe and have no clear direction. They just go "wouldn't it be cool if" before they take something out of their ass that didn't have any setup. Lots of events where characters just act out character are a sign of this. The Goddess Fall where they had to make everyone retarded just because they wrote themselves into a corner but still wanted to escalate was a sign of that. The 20 year plan isn't really a plan but a hope. Think about how long they can milk the Lilith Queen (even if they make a bunch of new heretics or do the Sixo storyline for filler) without it feeling ridiculous. In another 3 years they will have to escalate again and then they will introduce aliens or some bullshit. We level up so they either throw a wrench out of nowhere to push us back or introduce a new bigger threat out of nowhere. That's most of Korean "stories".
