I think permafrost bolts are bugged. They consistently fail to kill magic and even white mobs up close despite having elemental armament slotted in. My other shotgun skills work fine and clear as intended (stuff explodes). It feels like there's a hidden damage penalty on the skill. The shots' spread visually looking at least twice as big as that of fragmentation rounds doesn't help probably. Maybe it IS intended, but then it means that Galvanic shards freezing the entire screen much better than all other dedicated freeze skills combined is also intended...

I played Diablo IV hardcore, every season, more than 1000hrs. Then I moved to Path of Exile 2 and liked it. After that, I went deep into Path of Exile (3.27) — ~400 hours. That’s where it clicked. PoE1 feels like the peak of ARPGs. Depth, builds, choices that actually matter. I returned to PoE2 (0.4) for 70–90 hours, got bored of maps, and tried the new Diablo 4 season again. After ~500 hours in PoE, Diablo 4 now feels like an arcade game. Did PoE1 permanently raise the bar, or am I just burned out on ARPGs?

That item can not be traded in the new league, it doesn't exist in that economy but it can be still used by you personally. You will have a stack of Exalted Orbs earned during the league with a little badge on them and a stack that were earned in the current league. If you don't use them in the current league they get passed onto previous league where they can only be used on items that were also used in the past leagues. tl;dr all items that drop get a little badge on them saying they are current league drops, when the league is over, they join the rest of your items with the 'legacy' symbol, can still be used by you personally but don't exist to others for trade. You need to use those assets in that leagues heydey if you want to get max appreciation for their value.

Am I the only casual player loving PoE 2 more than ever?As someone who dives deep into every league and leagues start but doesn’t have all deep mechanics memorized and gets hyped over a few Divines like it’s a jackpot, i really enjoy it at the moment. This season (0.4) is straight fire for me! With 0.3 mechanics now core, it’s never been easier: juice maps with three tablets, farm/sell essences, smash Chaos recipes, loot Expeditions… Endless casual-friendly ways to stack currency without hardcore profit-crafting.0.3 was fantastic, but 0.4 levels it up (Temple aside maybe). Abysses on every map? Hell yes, I love ‘em! Other mechanics on the side, feels so smooth and rewarding. Room for tweaks always, but GGG’s direction is making PoE 2 a blast for casuals like us.
