Ideally, you'd be going around either fixing your mistakes or intentionally killing or allowing npcs to die. Almost everything is carried over so you can just rush around directly to where you want to go while annihilating everything in your way. You don't need to kill the optional bosses either since you'd already have their loot and book. Ideally, you can see basically every variation of events with only two playthroughs.

>>550922661Honestly, in terms of game design I think BS1 is pretty high up there compared to the vast majority of other eroge, including some of the more well liked ones. The combat is actually somewhat interesting to interact with, time passes when you open fog gates but there's no day/night cycle, and it doesn't have any needlessly long and tedious mechanics or quests from what I remember. Aside from one instance of a book that's only available at a single mandatory moment, you never even need to replay the game if you're a bastard. The npc questlines don't truly matter unless you like them and getting an avoidable bad ending to their story isn't necessarily a bad thing anyways. After reloading a save to before the breadcrumbs, I personally enjoyed the game with no issues after that.
