I just finished 2.8 and I came to a realization. Why is it Kuro’s “off” quests, and “filler” quests meant as set-ups are better than their action/climax quests? Two of the better quests in recent memory -- and practically the entire game, apart from some of the 2.0 stuff and 1.1 -- were 2.7 part 1 (Iuno’s quest) and 2.8. Both of these were meant to set up other arcs, not be the centerpiece content in and of themselves. I wonder if these aforementioned quests were produced by the same teams, given they weren’t released consecutively. It almost seems like Kuro should shuffle their teams, so their action packed MSQs aren’t so dull and formulaic like 2.7 part 2 was (I play as female Rover by the way)
