Sorry for the blogpost but I need to get it out.The DLC shifting earth map is unbelievably dogshit.My first few runs were nothing but frustration of every single path being a dead end with nothing there and being screwed by verticality and the giant hole in the middle of the map. Dying to the storm in deadends often because the DLC area map is useless for navigating.But then one run i realized that i can just spend Day1 going in a circle in the middle to break 4 crystals, killing weak bosses, grabbing loot piles and ~2 churches along the way then early Day2 grabbing the shattered blue crystal buff and leaping to one of the two boss gauntlet towers.Doing that was such an easy free win compared to bothering with either of the two big intricate castle areas or any of the ruins or underground areas that the whole shifting earth now feels "Solved" to me. Despite not knowing what else is worth exploring, just the experience itself of exploring it is so bad that I don't even want to learn it instead of just taking the free win every time. Terrible design. Almost 1k hours of this game and i barely even want to play the DLC area. The bosses are cool though.

I keep doing the latter by myself and notice my teammates are sitting on the edge of the arena when the adds spawn back in. I feel like if you have the damage to do it you should because it's free damage and you get the adds grouped up and stunned for a bit when they spawn.

There is nothing wrong with greatbow melee classes against bugs, adel, normal maris, caligo if you have literally no fire, and sometimes dogs from raider pillar. The problem is career griefbow players who can't melee at all and eat shit as soon as their ult is down.
