Said it before I'll say it again. DR needs to work at level cap and actually provide EHP that isn't ALIVE or DEAD. This would be achieved by spending resources to increase the calculation in your favor and lowering the effective level of the enemy when it comes to their damage to your life. It also lets people invest all the worthless garbage they have millions of and pick a few frames to do level cap at. They could also itemize some game mode at increasingly rates other than arcane farming. Such as going from A,B,C rotations all the way up to Z with super rare cosmetics and honoria. Instead you will get nothing but RSI inducing gay shield gating and more paid cosmetics with rehash tau garbage to gobble up because dev is haaaaard

I've noticed I hardly care for warframes and their abilities at all. I'm much more focused on my weapons and how I can get them to work the way I want. I hardly factor abilities into that, I just play warframes I like. For me it's a bit of both, I only care for guns with punch through or weird synergies with mag's bubble. it's not the most optimal dps room clearing tool, or boss killer but it's satisfying seeing a single shot create a blender.
The purgator was the latest synergistic gun off the top of my head, even if that wasn't a punch through gun, but the bubble always guarantees weak point hits and the gas clouds do work in tightly packed mobs
