I've gotten it down to a routine for the first 2 phases already, you just lure it over the lava spouts in phase 1, as it changes to phase 2 you trigger the lever when it takes the final step forward so it stubs its claw for 8200 damage, you drop the rock on its head for another 4100 damage, boom, first knockdown. If your group has enough damage you can even get the laser cannon off its back right away to nearly skip phase 2. Let Mina take the farthest of the cables to waste as little player time as possible.Phase 3 is a bit of a crapshoot because he becomes very spastic.

Interesting, I just fought demon king diablos in FU but he doesn't seem to drop any unique parts or have any unique armor. So that means there's actually precedent for what they did with rise apex monsters and it wasn't an oversight. Which makes generations the actual odd one out for giving these unique harder versions of monsters their own gear. I guess that's just another reason to further appreciate generations/GU but it does make me wonder why they went back to the old way. Also modern AAA publishers are not interested in making their games scalable in terms of visuals because they are deathly afraid of people making clips in actual low settings which would market their game in "ugly" graphics. Hence why other than upscaling/shadows/textures there are barely any differences in terms of visuals from the billion other graphics settings.
