I ran a Lethal mission back when it was the highest difficulty with a very talkative and VERY southern-accented guy who kept dying but at the very least he was apologetic. Just carry a melta and a heavy bolt pistol, I've seen far too many idiots bringing bolters. You need a Tactical who knows how to aim his auspex along with replenishing grenades and a Vanguard negro with Extremis heal. Both of them should be carrying melta rifles. Not having the Tactical means the Heldrake fight will take half an hour or more and not having the Vanguard means your squad will wipe since you'll be forced to be in low HP in lull segments (Saber clearly did not playtest this modifier).

The third teammate is literally (You), you can pick any class and as long as you keep executing you're golden.

I unironically like the Heroic Heavy Bolter. I don’t think it’s quite as good as the accuracy variant, but the majority of the fighting on Absolute+ will be done at close enough range that the spread doesn’t matter, and it’s best (unlisted for some reason) trait is the fact that it has 0 spin-up time to reach max RPM. This lets you squeeze more burst damage in between long enemy combos and parrying.

That was not proper heraldry for the Deathwatch. The Dark Angels' symbol is now white. Red indicates Pre Heresy/Heresy era Legion colors. A proper Dark Angel Deathwatch would have the green pauldron with white iconography. There's a bit of leeway with the trim, I believe you're allowed to change the color to indicate company.

They no longer use this color scheme as they traded it for green when Caliban was destroyed to symbolize the forests the planet was known for. I cleared the hard weekly with randoms. A fucking level 9 0p Heavy and a 20 3p Tac who got flatlined in the 2 minutes he was there. I like playing sniper because you can pick off all the annoying ranged enemies that the melee specialists normally die to. I've lost count on the amount of times I watch an assault or bulwark get 1-tapped by a minimum range salvo from a nid warrior. I also run with a melta pistol to avoid getting swarmed by minoris chaff

It's just the hyperbolic nature of how people talk about everything. Nothing is ever kinda undertuned, it's always "unplayable, unviable, shit-tier, f-tier, kick-tier" blah blah. Sniper's scoped weapons are not good against Chaos majoris, that is true, but the class is broadly fine. They'd be better off making the head hitboxes bigger and more consistent rather than buffing Sniper. Even if people are just bad and don't want to click on heads with the heroic BSR or fusil against chaos they can just take the carbine and brrt into them and kill them super fast still. While also using block/heroic knife shadow stabs to kill meatballs.
