>>551118417Personally, I've been optimizing how I invest in the nodes: the most important thing to realize is that most nodes are not mechanically relevant, they're just a numerical boost (20% card damage, 10% crit and some extras) so they're not that important. First, always rush for the final node if it has some unique mechanic, Cassius is the obvious example, but for many characters it's just a static boost. The basic node is worthless on nearly everyone, so I skip it and the neutral node. The unique node is a 20% boost to cards, but this is a relative boost according to the card power level, so it's better to invest in characters that use many cheap cards or single big number cards (like ballistas or ejections) it also doesn't affect damage from things that get the bulk of their damage from things that aren't cards, Selena and Beryl are excellent examples, so you can skip it on those for now too. The next two nodes are class dependent, if they are crit and crit damage they're very good, but worse than unique in most cases (I also only like to 5/5 on my favorites so I left them at 4/5 in most characters). However, on vanguards and controllers these two nodes are weaker so skipping them is useful too. I used some mats on bad potentials early on, but now I'm in a pretty comfortable spot slowly building up a stash. I skipped Haru, Yuki and Chizuru so that means I got 2 months where I was just building up the characters I had without anything new being added to the backlog, which makes it comfier and I'm even starting to get a small stash now, could probably max an order character in 3 or 4 days.
