I've been wondering this since essentially the first fest years ago, and I still don't have an answer. When you pull a 3*, most of the time you get the purple striped recruitment sheet. HOWEVER, on a rare occasion, you get a regular blue recruitment sheet, then when you are finished drawing on it, it flashes purple for a second before revealing a 3* in the recruited students.Why does it do this? It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the student having been recruited before or being a new student, I've tested it and I've gotten both. Here is an example of a blue sheet pull getting a 3*.
