I know its antithetical to mobile gamer adhd brain rot but I was thinking it could also be like that dungeon in Lufia 2, where its extremely long and its expected if you want to reach the final floor, you would need multiple play sessions and a lot of luck and skill, and at the end you could have some sort of super boss. This would let them use the overworld chibis/movement they keep trying to push and also incorporate the real game into it. I don't think anything like this would ever exist though because players of this game seem to hate any kind of difficulty and would demand it be nerfed 5 minutes after release after they get bodied 10 floors in from bad luck even though that's the entire point and what keeps it replayable, hoping that this time you can get some sort of crazy combo (or god forbid even get good yourself) to let you go a little farther.

Nikke at a philisophical level is opposite to uma. I have been playing jp uma since release. Nikke is about short playing sessions with hard walls preventing on on infinite grinding, banners are still friendly and fairly reasonable to get with higher rates and cross over pity. Dupes only increase stats of nikke minutely. The game tries to balance all players somewhat with server groups and level syncs and actively tries to minimize the rewards between weak and strong players to prevent pvp to feel required. Uma musume has a 2 new banner every 7 days with lower rates. There are 2 types of banners, support and character.They also do not have pity that crosses over. Uma musume grind is infinite. Support banners can be mandatory and most of the time 5lb copies is also mandatory since it unlocks new benefits. Support cards also powercreep fairly fast. We had literally 7 day creep before with one support card where everyone said the card was mandatory but became useless at the next scenario (throne). The games main focus is pvp and you are competing against everyone else. Your trained units become worthless at the end of the month after the pvp event ends. Runs can take 40m to 1 hr long. Uma musume is a brutal hardcore p2w giant time sink. Honestly i can't comprehend why the game is popular outside of japan because its whole appeal is jp horse racing. Honestly it feels like a giant bandwagon to me.
