Pot Scholar is pretty fun, but hits a brick wall the moment something fire resistant appears, there's just no reliable way of stocking any other type of pot.Bell Scholar is harder to use but works against everything.For solo pots seem to be useful regardless of build due to the knockdown, I'll probably start buying some even when playing other characters for that alone.
I spent a long time fighting Elden Beast/Radagon. Easily From's most difficult final boss (I'm not paying $60 to Activision), but I noticed some funny things about Elden Beast. Attack tracking is broken. The animation literally breaks. I don't know if it's the sub-30fps/frame pacing bug from From games or if it's something in all versions of the game. But it's fucking hilarious to see the Elden Beast animation snapping in front of you. The problem with this boss is the damage. From took pity on us by not giving the Elden Beast phases. Which makes it less annoying to fight. I hate the new mechanic where the cutscene repositions the boss. I also hate the phase system; it's much better when it happens in real time. You know what would be cool? Parrying giant bosses. In Dragon's Dogma, you can do that.

It was one of the best humanoid bosses in the game. But I really found it too easy. You can stagger her with R1 (one of the only major bosses that allow this), and R2 just BTFO her. For some reason, she didn't want to waterflow dance me, which made the fight easier. Also, in the second phase, she didn't WD me or bloom much. Which allowed me to R2 her for free. I still think that if the nerfs came because of broken hitboxes, it was fine. But I feel like she's an NG+ boss. Like, Haligtree dungeon is too cryptic for NG1. Also Colossals are all pure STR or STR/FTH, meanwhile Fists are mainly STR/DEX, so Undertaker needs the successive attacks combo just to match Wylder's default damage. Fists Undertaker is still really strong, but I'd rather not play every single character the same way. Wylder on the other hand cannot abuse crouch attacks like that.

Just surge sprint away the moment you have control of your character, if you queued up a 2nd attack then yeah you're dead.A good tip for dodging Adel, any time he's walking right towards you just surge sprint into his face and run past his legs, every one of his attacks in that situation will 100% miss you, it will look like you're killing youself on purpose until you try it out and realise he's way too slow to hit you.The only moves that can catch you are when he leaps at you, a couple of them have lingering hitboxes when he hits the ground that can catch you but in general if you roll into him you should be safe, I've done it plenty on Guardian and he has the worst dodge in the game by far so I'm sure with some practice you can manage anon.You also don't need to sprint away from the lightning bolts when Adel does that stompy lightning explosion, run from explosion and just walk around as long as you don't stand still you won't be zapped.
