I've played thousands of matches and very few come back from having the patron weakened and maybe one has come back from a patron being attacked after being weakened. After the barracks or whatever are destroyed and creeps are buffed it's almost impossible to push out of your base now. Every wave will be at your base and by the time you get it back to the enemy base they will be alive and back. Your skill as a team is not really going to be altered and you will wipe in the enemy base.

This game's design "philosophy" is really weird sometimes. Yamato has to charge up while standing still for a single slash attack, meanwhile Mina can do basically the same amount of damage in an instant with her slash. Holliday has to charge up and hit a skill shot with a longer timer from a shorter distance than Bebop does with his own grapple. I really hope they start making more radical changes because some of this shit just isn't fair for characters.

Ever since the event started I've been playing characters at random trying to knock out all the ournaments for the tree, this might be the first game I've played where each character feels fun to play to me. Characters I had never considered picking up like Talon, Victor or Mirrage ended up being so fun that I am considering putting them in my rotation once the event is over. The only character I haven't been able to enjoy is Geist, but other than that, I've been having a lot of fun.
