Proud of /simg/ for hitting the bump limit
>>551199880In Xplane12 these are the procedures. Make sure you fully refuel the aircraft before your climb and moving past mach 2.6 or the fuel tanks will not be purged of gases and filled with inert gas.
>>551204031Ah, I knew it was something with the bypass switches, looks like I moved them to fully closed way too early. Also I had no idea how important refueling was.

I'm guy who was asking of Il2 1946 mods on last thread. I'm currently installing VP mod. Anyone else got recs or can tell the difference in between all of them? I know of BAT, VP mod, Ypack, CUP, HSFX. but I have no idea what the difference between them is.IL2 1946 anons I request your guidance.
>>551219349Hello guy, I believe BAT is considered a must have.

>>551199564Wow, you've been updating the OP.We're so back.
>>551232859I was expecting a "WASTED" screen like three different times.
>>551240720It's a fun run, but I do push a little too far sometimes.
>>551241734I really wish this game had better mod support. So much potential.
Yeah it really is a shame. AC Rally looks decent enough, but I'll still wait for VR support to check it out.
Bump.

Not that I'd ever get it, but that's quite a nice touch.
>>551219349>BAT probably the most comprehensive, content rich modpack, featuring arse loads of aircraft, maps, campaigns etcIts core module is WW2 oriented but theres additional modules for cold war era stuff and WW1. Its mostly geared towards the singleplayer experience and there's tons of player made missions and campaigns on the sas1946 forum. It's the one i play the most. From what I recall the CUP mod was an early version of BAT. The only gripes I have is that it's pretty big (over 100gb), and while it isn't overly tricky to install, its just a bit tedious installing the whole pack since there's a lot of files and updates to download. It can start to chug too on missions with lots of objects>HSFXFrom what I've played and can remember this is sorta like vanilla+, mostly sound and graphics/vfx changes. I think it might add some aircraft. Adds a bit of polish to everything without taking up your whole harddrive>VP Modpack, Ypack, Ultrapack 3.0These are essentially more streamlined versions of the WW2 module for BAT; while BAT has tons of aircraft, they can vary in quality, these are a bit more curated. A lot of these modpacks are used for multiplayer (Ultrapack in particular), if thats your thing. I've played a fair amount of VP in the past, I'd recommend it

It then automatically adjusts the flight controls to maintain a commanded height above the ground.I didn't know modern fighters had this
