Some exact details might change with the balance patch soon, but the general playstyle is a not super complicated. Full counter is great when soloing, and good in group content too. >>551682584Elementalist is a bit hard for a new player yeah. The thing is that most classes have weapon skill 1-5 on 2 sets of weapons for 10 weapon skills on a build. Eles can't swap weapon sets, but they get 4 different elemental attunements each with a different set of skills for each weapon. So instead of 10 weapon skills per build you get 20. They're also kinda squishy and elementalists have a reputation with going down easily. If you look around or, God forbid, actually understand your traits and skills, you can get some nice sturdy builds though. Honestly though the game is overall very easy and casual, and heavily encourages playing multiple characters/classes. Just play what seems cool and switch when you want. One small tip is that the arena PVP lobby lets you try out classes fully unlocked from like level 2 (arena PVP is level and stat normalized) so if you just want to see what the buttons look like and stuff you can check it out there.

I have all LW content and I'm farming Fresh Winterberries for ascended gear. It's easy with alts just to gather and log out. What other maps are easy to do with alts too? Lake dork?

There's an account-wide cap on the amount of rubies you can collect in a day or something like that for some retarded reason so you can't just do it on a bunch of your characters each day. I think you cap out in like 2 characters running it iirc. Unless you're really looking to gear up a specific character/build I suggest just doing them when they're the LW3 daily map, squeeze a bit more out of it when you do it but not burn yourself out doing it every single day.
