If you arrived at any sort of pacifist philosophy which re-affirms your existing belief that murdering people might be undesirable or in some way 'morally' inexcusable then I advise you to re-read the VN. While it would be no doubt pleasant for the many people that have read this if a random man in Japan that's responsible for this had made a work that aligns with what could be considered socially acceptable beliefs, that is not the case. And that is the uniqueness of this work, above possessing incredible marks in generally every metric you'd judge a story through without mentioning some more 'filler-y' portions, as short as they were, it's philosophical conclusion at the end of the last arc affirms with itself a violent substance beneath the exterior permeating the whole VN which finds itself at odds entirely with what is deemed permissible or even appropriate in the current world. This is not a story for 'good people'.
