Looking back I realized I've barely played new (or old) single player games on 2025, this year I've spent most of my time playing f2p games because they gradually put you in the grindset of logging every day for dailies and climbing ranks for rewards, getting currency for shit and you end up having them as a second job to the point where you spend much, MUCH more time with them than you actually would if they were regular one time purchase games.So my new year resolution is dropping every single f2p game that requires you to log daily and do missions and shit except this one, I'm sticking with czn because the game doesn't make me feel like that, I only spend time here when I genuinely feel like playing (which is frequently) or want to clear the new content that drops every couple of weeks.Turns out that compared to everything else I played (mostly card games that entice you with currency to get packs) if I don't really feel like playing a day, two, three, or twenty, I can still get by all that just doing simulations on auto and checking boxes for two minutes while doing anything else and I'd barely miss anything, if at all. Of course playing a run when you feel like it because you want to enjoy the game is still fun, in that regard it's barely any different from other single player deckbuilders I enjoy.
