I got around to playing Unholy Maiden and you guys weren't kidding. What a disappointing game. The h-content isn't that good, the corruption is not satisfying, and the gameplay is boring. Still, it tries to do a lot without being outright bad so it gets a 4.8 from nips.

This game has a production value of 4 Stars, but is ultimately worth 2.The bane & boon of Unholy Maiden is the grind: not of EXP, but time. This game places great emphasis on exploration without a map, which would be fine if enemies didn't respawn every time you exited a room. Compounded by a stamina system, you won't have very long to explore the dungeon before needing to return to the surface and starting all over again the next day. The developer remedies this with shortcuts, but they are only useful after you complete the entire floor.
