WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH "Azmadi, Faridun Prince" boss? Basically, the time weeaboo desert samurai or whatever. I encountered him in a waystone as the boss and he fucked me up. I have about 14k armor and 2.5k life. He did some weird weeb slash where he sheathed his sword and dashed at me. It looked like I got hit by a million little explosions at once. He also zips around so much that trying to melee him down is aids. I think when I fought him in the campaign, I was over leveled for the area because I did every vaal temple. Just don't remember him being this hard. Is he bugged. Its more likely that I am a shitter I guess.

Armour works well against small hits and doesn't work well against big hits (big relative to your armour). Bosses intentionally have high-damage attacks that are difficult to mitigate with middling gear.

This issue means I ignore 99% of gear in an ARPG. Even perfect rolls with everything except +levels I ignore, it’s so painfully annoying to not get excited about loot because it doesn’t have +levels.

Also it makes the game progression of gear so much more jagged. You are basically waiting for +levels only, if you don’t get it you don’t switch out. Without it I would have changed my weapons so much more and generally been a lot more interactive with my build.

As feedback please look into having MAX +1 level on any weapon so other modifiers ca compete, or just straight up remove it which is unlikely. Also feel free to suggest other ways of fixing it

I know it’s a beta.
but the more time I spend trying poe1, the more I understand the doomers. It’s such a far cry from the good formula they had. I didn’t care about lack of movement skills until I actually used one.
Holding spacebsr to sprint everywhere into a stun feels bad. Needing infusions to do any damage feels bad. Melee not existing probably feels bad, but I don’t know because I haven’t played one yet.

I was looking through all the fake uniques i've made and there has been a bunch of power creep over the years.

This was meant to be super high dps. The gimmick was meant to incentivises low max life builds. So you'd get an ultra high dps weapon but you'd have to compensate with non-life based defence. Anyway, an equivilent sword is like 10d now which is pretty hceap

I feel like most fire-based characters that look good do some ember fusillade-based faggotry though. I might try to make a flameblast char myself next, the spell feels really good and it's lamentable that it has such a long cooldown so you have to use filler spells or press time snap all the time.

Does influencing scarab of hordes increase the average number of altars spawned or not? I'm finding conflicting information, every source says that altars are only based on the map's innate pack count, but every altar-focused strategy I see uses this scarab
