WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH "Azmadi, Faridun Prince" boss? Basically, the time weeaboo desert samurai or whatever. I encountered him in a waystone as the boss and he fucked me up. I have about 14k armor and 2.5k life. He did some weird weeb slash where he sheathed his sword and dashed at me. It looked like I got hit by a million little explosions at once. He also zips around so much that trying to melee him down is aids. I think when I fought him in the campaign, I was over leveled for the area because I did every vaal temple. Just don't remember him being this hard. Is he bugged. Its more likely that I am a shitter I guess.

This issue means I ignore 99% of gear in an ARPG. Even perfect rolls with everything except +levels I ignore, it’s so painfully annoying to not get excited about loot because it doesn’t have +levels.

Also it makes the game progression of gear so much more jagged. You are basically waiting for +levels only, if you don’t get it you don’t switch out. Without it I would have changed my weapons so much more and generally been a lot more interactive with my build.

As feedback please look into having MAX +1 level on any weapon so other modifiers ca compete, or just straight up remove it which is unlikely. Also feel free to suggest other ways of fixing it

I was looking through all the fake uniques i've made and there has been a bunch of power creep over the years.

This was meant to be super high dps. The gimmick was meant to incentivises low max life builds. So you'd get an ultra high dps weapon but you'd have to compensate with non-life based defence. Anyway, an equivilent sword is like 10d now which is pretty hceap

This will never not be funny. Anyone with half a brain knew this shit would get old after doing it more than once. I'm willing to be GGG pulls some shit like making act 5 longer than acts 1-4 combined with maps bigger than anything we've seen yet just to spite the player base since that seems to be their only goal at this point.

the poe2 armor formula is twice as bad as the poe1 one, so anything outside of white mob autoattacks pretty much immediately crushes your armor to nothing.

it's armor/armor-10x damage to determine damage reduction. If the boss hits you for 5k, with 14k armor you're only reducing it by 21%, which is still enough to completely one shot you with only 2500 life. Meanwhile, if instead of 14k armor you just invested in 7k ES you'd have a max hit of 9500 and be able to survive just fine without even needing to flask. Then there's all the other bullshit ES gets, like Lich turning bypasses ES into universal damage reduction, so they're actually getting more DR% against big phys hits than even 30k armor
