There's no cool screenshakes, no cool aftereffects like with Contempt Awe, no cool sound design (seriously, why the fuck are they using the basic ass season 1 sword hit sounds?), nothing we usually get with WAW EGOs nowadays. We don't even see her ensnaring the enemies in the red thread like we do with the Red Eyes EGOs. It just screams rushed to me, which isn't surprising since he claimed he'd release the canto this year only to release it in 2026 anyway. Faust's animations are similarly bad, but that's just to be expected from 00s being turned into 000s. I don't have high hopes for the content of this season, especially after the disaster that was Season 6's ID lineup, I just hope the story is serviceable.
